Shimanani Kaido from Imabari to Onomichi (しまなみ海道)

A 60km long toll road that connects Japan's main island of Hunshu to the island of Shikoku, passing over six small islands in the Seto Inland sea. Also known as the Nishiseto Expressway (西瀬戸自動車道).

An entire stretch of 60km road with built in walking and cycling path, the bicycle route is well marked and maintained so its super easy to navigate around the area. The bike route has no large inclines but some of them can be long. The view across the entire stretch is really beautiful with a good mix of nature, small town and sea. The view on the expressway bridge across the sea is absolutely amazing, stunning view of the many small islands of Seto inland sea. There are many rest stations with toilet and convenient store along the Kaido for you to rest your feet or get some quick bite. It might be hard to complete the entire Kaido in 1 day so what I did was cycle from Imabari station to Oshima Isand, spent sometime exploring the island and back to Imabari station at 5pm (bike return timing). Anyone travel to that area with people who can ride bike I strongly recommend you spend 1 day here.

Kyoto's Fushimi Inari Taisha Entrance Fee: Free ----------------------------------------------------------------- Probably the most famous attraction in Kyoto and prolly the entire Japan,  if you buy a set of kyoto postcards this is prolly the 1st in the set, and if you go scroll down you fb friends list 5% of them prolly have this place as their dp background as well. "Influencers" who travel Japan will prolly come this place take some nice shots and post it with some random Jap phrases. Japan has more than one thousand shrines that worship the Inari fox god and this is the HQ of all the Inari shrines.
